Denim, Denim, Denim, Denim........................Double Denim?

So from the catwalk, magazines, internet and high street stores we all know that everyone is trying to work the double denim. Is this a good thing? Well Yes. Its fun, trendy and with the right combination it does look really stylish. Let's be fair from way back and beyond everyone has had something denim in their wardrobe, so why not get it all back out and turn it into something more modern. Doing this can still make you look individual and unique even if the outfits been brought back up to date with on trend accessories and a plain top or going even further and using dip dye, rips and studs.
Just remember....denim is here to stay and for this season try to channel the same colour of denim because if not your outfit may be very ineffective and off trend.

get into the swing of things

Designers showed off a variety off large skirts on the catwalk for Spring/Summer 2014. The medley of skirts consisted of a range of patterns, colours, shapes and styles...not one the same.
However we like to look at things a little more realistically...............therefore I've picked a few of some of my favourite skirts, at affordable prices from the high street/online stores.
Matched with open toe dollies or a pretty pair of kit heels, a tucked in loose t-shirt or crop top, minimal jewellery and loose hair the skirt will be transformed in to a classy chic summer outfit.
For day to day wear use a bowling bag or satchel and for a night out change to an antique clutch.

Cortina D'Ampezzo

After 4 and a half months I have finally finished my ski season with Inghams as a hotel assistant. I was placed in the very wealthy but absolutely beautiful town of Cortina which is situated in the southern alps, located in Veneto, a region in northern Italy. Not only was it an amazing place to be but getting to meet a huge group of people, learn to ski, eat Italian food and enjoy homemade strawberry ice cream made the stay an unforgettable experience. For anybody who loves to ski/snowboard or wants to learn I would definitely encourage you to apply for work abroad, 2014/15. Now that the ski season is finished I decided to stay in Italy to do some travelling, who wouldn't want to visit Rome, Venice, Milan...........? So currently I am in a beautiful town in the Umbria region called Perugia. I have only been here a few days but I have 6 weeks to look forward too which means a lot of exploring and days out. Hopefully in the next week I will get some photos up for use all too see :-) .
